Wedding Vows

Wedding Vows are the most intimate and personal parts of every wedding ceremony. I encourage you to take the time with your spouse-to-be to work through several different versions of wedding vows and settle on one that you both like.

Sometimes it’s not so easy to think of your own wedding vows, and you may want to access some of the common wedding vows that are available from Lorraine when you visit at the interview.

I am also able to lend you books of poems, ceremonies and vows which you may find suitable for just about every occasion, which will help to guide you in the preparation for your day.

Naturally, you are entitled (and encouraged) to do your own wedding vows – which will bring your own individuality to the ceremony.

Note however that there are certain legal requirements which must be included in every ceremony in order to be declared married in Queensland, and these cannot be left out. Lorraine will discuss these sections with you so that if you wish to use your own vows then you can allow the legal requirements to be included at appropriate sections in the ceremony.

When the ceremony is complete, Lorraine will include the legal requirements – and this is not negotiable.

Next, let’s take you to the rehearsal so that we can know exactly what we need to do prior to the big day.
